Lingering Snow

“Lingering Snow” is a five-minute Japanese winter ballad centered on a clear piano motif and a memorable vocal melody.

Originally composed by Akihisa Yorozu about 20 years ago, the song was later reconstructed, curated, and mastered as a completed vocal-pop work. The piece demonstrates how selected principles from the award-winning TRANSPLEX technology can be applied beyond experimental electronic music, extending into a conventional Japanese vocal ballad through melody, repetition, variation, and emotional afterimage.
